We are at a quick 8 race, qualified #1-on a very short and somewhat tricky track.( short and very bumpy).bob backed out at 3.12 seconds and still ran a 3.97...we are almost ready for round 1....putting some more fuel to it now..altitude is dropping fast...here we go...

Not much time, but we'te going into the finals...the other ast car,which has mike Janis' adrl motor in it just lost, so its us and another top dragster going for the $3000.
Off we go soon...then off to another quick 8 at noon tomorrow.

We re here in Rochester, #1 qualifier,missed the tune up(3.90) but making some tune up changes for round one...weather and track conditions are changing fast...round 1 soon.

It's us against a blown Chevy altered...we just tried the proverbial "kitchen sink" tune up..and we hazed the tires 660' so we are going back to a 3.90-4.00 tune up.
If we get by the altered we will have a
Twin turbo 632" in the finals
