Quick question: How come there's no talk or much use of the B1 MC's anymore? Do they still make them?
thanks, Steve

Well the big deal with a Titanium valve is the weight..Do you have any idea what a Stainless 2.40 valve for a B1 would weigh. Let's just say it would not be very valvetrain friendly.

The reason we didn't run the MC's, is because the intake valves need to be Ti. That drove up the price considerably. All Mark really wants is at least 800HP! I think he's going to be happy for sure Yes they are still being made, and they can make a fair amount more HP than the Original on a large CID engine. Brian
Thats why I did'nt get them, too. The Ti valves added about $800. to the cost. With a 4.5 bore, i could have used them, but, like you i was'nt looking for max HP either.
Again, great info, thanks!
