Time for an update.
I finally got the grille finished and installed. What a pain in the ass that was. I'm satisfied with the results, it could be better, but could be worse too. The kicker was a small crack reappearing after installation...
Its in and its done, nuff said.

The wagon still hasn't sold yet, but a reliable friend is in the process of getting some $ together..

I took on another job so I haven't done much. Did have a birthday and the wife made a cake for me. I did the airbrushing.

Cake. The coloring had a hard time sticking to the frosting, we'll use fondant for the next one!

I'm shocked he wagon didn't sell!

The details will kill the fun of a project.

Keep up the good work!

Yeah, I thought it would have sold easily too. I'm taking a loss on it, but I really want to finish the Duster. Having a 90% complete project stalled out is really frustrating. I've made $ on cars and lost $ on cars, as long as I can break even in the long run then I'm happy. The rotors and bearings just showed up!! Off to the garage..

Looking good! Now I'm guessing that you understand why I charge so much to restore a Shark Tooth Grille eh? Yours looks great! Can't wait to see your car all done. PS, Mine SHOULD be painted within a week! I have some serious catching up to do!

Also, in case you weren't sure about your grille hardware, here's an original with the right screw details.

Thanks all.

Scott, would the phillips screws (pictured) that hold the headlight bezel to the top of the grille be a black or silver finish?
Ohh and yes I now know why you charge so much to restore one. I hope to replace mine with an NOS/ perfect one down the road.

I got the hubs off the old rotors and the wheel studs soaking in evaporust. Best part of the afternoon was squarely smacking my middle finger with a 2lb sledge while removing the studs.

Creative use of smileys...and who hasn't done that.

Sure is going to be a great looking ride when you're done.

No worries. I REALLY, REALLY want to drive the Duster. I have a new goal now. There's a local show here on Sept 29th and I'm taking home a "Best Mopar" trophy!!

I got the spindles redone and the new rotors cleared today. I installed new bearings and seals too. It can set it on all 4's now... wheels and tires coming soon! Here is a teaser pic of the suspension details, any inspection marks were redone as found.
