A- have the originals rebuilt
B- find NOS = extremely hard to find and expensive when you do

there is no accurate reproduction

A. I don't have the originals.
B. Let me know if you come across a set.

I am bumping this thread because I need shocks this week.

Superstockracer, is this the one you have bought?
http://www.jcwhitney.com/HARD-TO-FIND-SH...cw?reviewflag=1

In another thread I searched Logan426 suggested Monroe....anyone have a specific PN that works? Others have suggested Year One's product, a little spendy at $50 each plus shipping. Any other styles brands you like/used? I'd like to avoid repainting if possible.

Thanks in advance,

EW

Which do you need, front rear, or both?
I have several NOS sets of these 340-383 fronts...stamped 3402417 but work just fine on all engine applications.
You can pm me if interested.

The Monroe shocks have the same basic shape from the bell shape down as e-body originals. They do not look original on the top. For e-bodies Eric, just scuff and spray Dupli-color semi-gloss black.

Well sorta correct looking. Thes are Monroe matics (gas charged )sprayed with Krylon #1613 semi black. I got a set of 4 for less then $60 at a local auto parts store. The ride great on both of my cars, WAY better that stock mopar shocks....and the price.....
