Have been looking diligently at my wiring diagrams in the TSM but sure can't see how my tach on my rallye dash gets its reading?? I have the wires attached at the cluster, but the tach does not work. So where should it be getting its signal? I don't have anything at the coil or distributor that looks like it is the connection.

Thanks for that, you are correct, lots of articles there, and of course they lead to more questions. I just changed out my Unilite distributor for the Mancini racing setup with the orange box...used their new ballast resistor as well. By doing that will I need to rig up something as if the car never had a working tach? In reading the articles, many seem to refer to changing from a non rallye to a rallye which requires splicing and adding connectors, because mine is an original rallye I would think all of that would be in place.??

Take a good look at the FSM again...It's the gray wire coming off the tach...Through cavity 20 in the bulkhead connection and out to the coil {also as a gray wire}...When you're looking at the coil the tach wire should be on there with the distributor lead....
