451 DODGE OP mopar 4 Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 576 Hr up from KCK	B engine,I have had it apart to long and also forgot to mark which side is which.Do the oil holes which you know are off center of the bolt holes favor the valve side or lifter???.........also does the oil drive need to point at something like i use to do on the LA engines??Thanks gonna mow then check back 1970 Challenger R/T clone 2010 Dodge Journey R/T black,awd,

buildanother I Live Here B Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 11,543 chicagoland,usa	Yeah, man oil holes down and towards valves, and intermed shaft slot should be parrallel to cam/crankshaft centerline which will leave the rotor pointing pretty much at fuel pump when at top dead center firing cyl #1. Note: some aftermarket distribs have different indexing, so watch for variences with them.
