Can't keep the adjustment on my right front torsion bar, and it rides on the bump stop. It started a few weeks ago. I would crank the adjuster and it would stay up, but go for a ride and it goes back down. Any ideas?

Look at the back mount(trans cross member) and see if its twisting that mount out... put a magic marker mark on it and see if it move

I had the problem last year and it was my adjuster bolt and block were stripping. If it is not the rear mount as stated. You may need the new T bar adjusters http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/tobarad.html
A simple way to check the adjuster is... adjust up the bar and paint a line around the threads at the adjuster block... drive the car and check to see if the line is pushed back... its stripped

I'm glad you brought this up because mine is doing exactly the same. I thought it was just worn and needed replacing. Mick

No its not the adjusters, it stays in the same spot currently bottomed out. So I would just have to use a tach to weld the rear back together? Release all pressure and weld.

What bars (size) are you running ? I have .840 bars on my B body,,,,and it will "sag" over time,,,if the car sits for an extended period of time,,or after tying it down on the trailer.... I now keep the front end "jacked up" at home ( jack stands,,etc ),,,and also at the track will lift the front for a while after i take it off the trailer.... This has helped,,,and i have had to adjust it alot less. For me,,,i think it's the very light weight bars,,,and the B body weight of my car.... I might put a stronger bar on mine this fall..

Mine doesn't sag over a period of time, it's run to run. Mick

If it is the rear mount thats bad its pretty hard to get it back into place... it needs to be indexed again before you weld it otherwise you will run out of adjuster... hopefully you can get a inclineometer reading off the other side(I forget where the flat should be)

Ok p-body I gotcha match it up with the other side before welding. To the other people mine has the adjuster bottomed out with no more adjustment left and is sitting on bump stop.
