Ok I dont have the money for the evans wiring kit for about another month, and I want to try and get the Dart running. Ill show you pictures and tell you what I think they are and you can tell me if im wrong or right.

Ok This is the voltage regulator, and im guessing it a universal electronic kind to replace the old mechanical type.

This is a thin blue wire,I think it goes to the Ign part of the Voltage Reg.

This is a connector with a solid blue and a blue with white tracer wire going into it. I think this is supposed to go on the ballast resistor.

Finally, these are solid blue and brown wires, which I think are supposed to have a connector similar to above and should also connect to the ballast resistor.

I think ya got it.

The blue with the blue/white will go to one side of the ballast resistor. The solid blue goes to the IGN of the regulator. The blue w/tracer is the ignition from the switch (which is jumpered via them being attached at the connector).

The blue and brown do indeed need to be crimped together with the same connector, and go to the other side of the ballast resistor. The blue goes to the coil, and the brown is the "crank" 12v signal that will give the coil 12v when cranking.

So when *not* cranking the blue w/tracer supplies 12v to the ballast resistor, the resistor steps down the voltage, and the solid blue on the other side sends the lower voltage to the coil.
