All adjustable rocker arms are noisy... Dont care what kind of setup it is.. Its a good sound, a sound that I like... Mech cam lash click, click, click is like music to my ears.

Have them on SB & BB motors; no noise to speak of. You's better check to see if they clear the rest of your valvetrain & the rocker pedestals, as well as the valve covers.
On my BB with 1.6s & stock valve covers, the rockers were hitting the VC oil baffles, and the shaft retainers were contacting the VCs at the front & rear corners. A little clearancing (ball-peened the baffles, filed the retainer corners) and all is quiet.
I'm assuming your lash isn't too loose.

ive taken the valve covers off twice to check everything and i cant find them hitting anywhere. no witness marks on the valve covers or rockerarms themselves, plenty of clerance on the retainers also. the more rpms the motor turns the faster the click, click, click!!!

Thats tight! I use to tighten up the old MP cams, which called for .028/.032 Hot..
How are you setting lash? What are you allowing for growth? Iron Block, aluminum heads what?

That's an extremely loose lash setting. I'd bet it's .012,not .12" .

It cant be, I thought it was a typing error.. No way a lash setting is a 1/8th inch!...
The valve train is probably trashed, and Im betting it was noisy... really noisy LOL

How are you doing your lash... are you doing the
valve open/close procedure or the MP way... it may
be loose but the way you are checking it it might
not show it

Doing it that way doesnt always get you on the base
to set the lash... most or a lot of guys use the
valve open/close procedure with better results on
bigger cams... might want to do a search for that
procedure

What kinda oil you use ? Dont know how clicky u are, i switched from rotella to brad penn and clicking was a lot less, my lash was same for each oil, for what its worth it made a diff for me , again, dont know how much valvetrain noise you have. And i know my lash was set perfectly , is this your first time with roller rockers?

Warm the motor up, drive it for 10 mintues or more so the oil and valve gear is warm or hot, remove the rocker cover on one side and set the first intake valve when that cylinders exhaust valve just starts to open when rotating the motor over using the starter, take your time and make sure the feeler gauge barely slides in, not slides in easily Then rotate the motort over until the intake valve opens all the way and strats to close, set the exhaust and go to the next cylinder, when in doubt do it over Once you get that side done put it back togaether and riun it some to warm the other side up some more, see if you hear a difference with one side and then do the other It takes a little time to get use to this method but it is the best way to set the lash on any big lift long duration lots of overlap camshaft Let us know your results, BTW if you where setting them cold setting them hot will probaly make them a little quieter

ok, i reset the lash using the valve open/closed method and the noise is reduced by about 50%. i had originaly set the lash with the mopar perfomance decal and i was suprised to fnd the lash very loose when i checked them before i reset them this time. i believe that yall maybe right when you say the mopar performance way doesnt work with big duration cams.
