Need to install a new Crank Position Sensor in the '92 Cherokee. The new one (aftermarket) didn't come with a spacer. Does anyone know the correct thickness of the spacer so I can make one? Would a small piece of double sided tape be good to attach the spacer to the CPS?

iirc the bolts are shouldered on the 4.0l to set the air gap you dont have any adjustment

Just got done installing the CPS. The Chrysler (Jeep) shop manual stated you have to use a spacer to set the air gap, but you're right, the bolts have a shoulder that's a light slip fit with the holes on the CPS bracket, and it doesn't allow for any adjustment. Thanks.
