Evening gents, I have a 1994 Chrysler T & C and I went to do some maintenance on it and the hood release cable broke. How can I get the hood open? Thanks in advance.

which end it broke on
will determine how to open the hood.

if it broke at the pull handle
you can cut the housing back
to expose some of the cable
clamp the vice grips
on the cable and pull

if at the latch end
some time you can get to it under the van
with a long screw driver and move the latch
and some times can sneak in at the front of the hood

Bingo! Of all things I used was an old wheel cover removal pry bar that had the right angles to get up in there and unlatch it. Further investigation revealed that lubrication was in dire need. Thanks for the help. The plastic handle under the dash is busted but I can use vice grips to open the hood. Mopar to ya!
