Ebrock heads flow better than stock iron heads and by the time you get done fixing the stock iron you will be close in price to Ebrocks .

I'm running 6.55 1/8 mile ETs @ 109 mph on OTB eddy heads on a 496 BB. Well worth the price. My only recommendation is to have your machinist check them out before installation.

One thing id also watch for is a set of good already ported/polished/valve jobs and all that stuff iron heads someone may have taken off to move up to the Edelbrocks or Indys or something else...back when the Eddies first came out they were still WAY up in price guys thought they would get what they had in them back out of them ...you know the...I paid for $1000 of work I wont take a dime less than that for them...at that time guys just passed on them and got the Eddies instead for a couple hundred more or the same price...now guys know that they are not gonna get that and in the past few months ive seen some great deals on what WOULD have been some RATHER EXPENSIVE Iron heads of a LOT less. Just something to keep your eyes open for.

Well were going for Edelbrocks nothing used though , this time brand spanky new less surprises and aggravation with new. What about rocker arms and shaft, do we run stock or is there something else that's needed?

In the race parts section there is a new set of Eddys in the box at a good price! As far as rockers and shafts,do you have an aftermarket cam?

Easy 12 second ride, should see 11's is you match up your parts and get traction.

Too many cars, too many parts, too little coin, too little space to work in, too little time left to make it all happen! Update: down to one ride, still too many parts, a little more jingle in the pocket, gaining space, and it's going to happen this year!

Use the stock rockers and shafts. Save a few $ and spend on the Comp XE275HL cam. Better power and street manners than the .509.
