Does anyone know where I can get the tool to install the mirror mounting nuts? I had one and the body shop lost it! Now I can't find another.

Harbor Freight sells them too but I just got a long bolt/screw and a couple nuts.

Thread a nut and washer on the bolt and then through the tube nut. Press into the hole and while holding the bolt still tighten the nut until it's tight.

Works great if you only need to do one or two but if you are doing more than a couple buy the tool.

I tried the nut and bolt trick also but it didn't work. For $20 I just bought the tool from Harbor Freight. Took about 2 min. after that.

Good suggestion, I think I'll try that.

I just looked at the websites for Napa & Harbor Freight and didn't see it on either of them. Does anyone have a part number? I tried searching for Barrel Nuts, Barrel Tool, etc.

Thanks. I wasn't planning on a whole kit, but for $17 I got it.
