Last picture.
I understand this one is a NASCAR MAX WEDGE single 4bbl intake manifold, cowl induction air cleaner.

Thank's, but i will pass.
These air cleaners are pretty much "eye candy" wall hanger parts, these days that i like to own, but i will never be NASCAR racing.

Do you by chance have the measurements of that single 4 airceaner elememt. I picked up a similar Fram one and there are a few NOS cases still at an old speed shop I know of. I beleive they say FRAM HPA-1 and TOP on the inside..13 3/4 inside dia, 3.5 high.
Not quite wide enough for the 66-69 hemi aircleaner.
Just wondered if they are worth going back for.
Thanks

Terry.
I dug out the cowl induction air cleaner and took measurements of the air filter element that's in it.
Mine says NAPA 2092 on it, but i have no idea if it's an totally original to the unit or not.
Mine measures at 13 3/4 inch inside diameter, but 3 inches in height.
It looks like a 3 1/2 inch one should be in there, instead of the 3 inch one.
The one that your describing to me appears to be the absolute correct one, in my opinion.
I guess it would be a good thing to grab the other filter elements if you could get them at a decent cost.
Jim V.

Thanks Jim for the info.
I too wondered if Fram could possibly have been the orginal supplier.
I will put the old speed shop on my list of places to get back to in the near future.

Keep me in mind if you do.
I probably have had that cowl induction air cleaner for 25 years, and never looked that close at the filter element before.
Guess it could use a 3 1/2 inch filter after all.

NAPA 2092 fits 58 and 59 Oldsmobile with a single 4 barrel carb as I recall. Probably a few others too.

July 19th should be "Drive Like Rockford Day". R.I.P. Jimmie.
