I forget who,but just wanted to find out because I hope to swap yesterdays 5.7/545 score into a 70 Duster. I know he has done several of these swaps, and knows a lot of the do's and don'ts. Thanks.

I did a 5.7 truck motor in a hot rod with a small block 727 trans & converter. Mopar intake manifold with 750 Holly. MSD Hemi-6 ignition box and harnes.Mopar A/C delete pully. Fabricated a special aluminum oil pan.

I have looked into this a bit earlier and you may need a wiring harness from Hotwire Auto, TTi headers/motor mounts (unless you want to fabricate them), I know you can bolt one into a 727 or 904.

Well anyway, here is a tech article about a swap into an E-body:

And here is another article I found:

Thanks MuuMuu. I looked at the links, and the Street & Performance site was a lot of help. I was able to find links to a thread where a Moparts member stuck a new Hemi in a Demon, and made the factory LX exhaust manifolds work.

I was looking into doing the swap a while back and found this site useful: http://www.thehemi.com/newhemiswap.php
It has links to others that have done this already. I decided to not do it as $$$$ even though it would look fantastic. Good Luck.
