540challenger OP master 5 Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 2,826 NY usa	Why would you upgrade to a 16v battery? When you do can you run a stock charging and wiring in your car or do you need to upgrade?

Also if you run electric pumps and fans they will run faster. I run 16 volt with an alternator. I run a step down on the fuel pump on the motor and when I run nitrous I run 16 volts to the fuel pump.

OUTLAWSSAA super stock Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 991 Addison,IL	I switched to 16 volts last year and never stepped anything down.I also run an alternator. so when the car is running its at 18 volts plus. Motor spins over like a top.
