probably from the fact that many guys use DAWN or IVORY dish soap to coat inside a tire in hope of preventing slow leaks thru the sidewall.

Its real easy to clean your tires that way... you dont need to even use soap ... thats just the soap trying to stop the leaks... if it persist you will need to soap them again... and let it dry over night before you air them up
