Right now I have 452 heads. At first was thinking to get 906 better compresion and flow, I THINK ? Now I have heard about the new cast iron heads made by mopar perforamce same as 906 heads better flow and bolt right on. part number P5249114 sold at summit racing. Does anyone know anything about these heads? So of the three which one will improve the perforamce of my 1972 440 in a 1965 ply bel 2 ? also be the best heads to have with the new 6 pack thats in the car future? The 452 heads, 906 heads or the new MP P5249114 heads which one to get? love to hear people thoughts.

I'd say get a set of Eddy's or 440 source heads that have been checked over and massaged by some of the shops recommended on here. That way you can add the weight savings of aluminum.
If you swap over to the aluminum intake, heads, water pump housing, and run tube headers, it all adds to performance and pretty significant weight savings. Throw in the proper cam for your combo and you could be looking at over 100 additional horsepower to boot.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

Ditto. For all practical purposes all 1968 and newer B/RB heads have the same chamber size and flow very close to each other. The 452s are better for home porting.
There is not one of the stock '68+ heads that can hold a candle to a set of Stealths or Edelbrocks. And the MP heads are scarcely better than the other cast iron heads, plus they are incredibly expensive.
R.
Stage VI heads have a 78CC chamber compaired the the 84cc chamber on the eddy heads.

I have 6 pak bolted a set of edlebrock aluminum heads, it make's plenty of power. I'll never buy another cast iron head for the rest of my life. No reason too.
Same here. I have eddy rpm heads on the 440 in the challenger. 10.1:1 with trw sixpack pistons, 484 mp cam. Edelbrock sixpack manifold. Much stronger than it was with the 902 heads and 770 vac sec carb that was on it before and all I did was swap the heads, intake and carb(s).
It went 13.19 @ 108.4 with a 2.10 60' with the iron heads and 4bbl. Haven't run it down a track with the sixpack, but it's much stronger now per my butt dyno.

Yes John, on paper but sitting side by side to Eddys it has a much smaller heart shaped chamber.

Back to OP. The 452 are the best factory iron open chamber head. Has about the same chamber as the over rated 906 but has a flatter floor on the intake runners and larger cooling ports than the 906's. Aluminum heads allow 10.5 C/R on todays pump and compression is power.
