I am currently putting back a 1969 fastback barracuda in F8 Green. I have several questions about putting the car back to original appearance as possible.
1. On trunk latch and other parts that appear to be plated, what is the best way (besided buying new) to restore orginal appearance? It looks like a cast or zinc finish.
2. Where is a good place to buy seals and gasket kit for the body?
3. Who would you recommend to do a instrument cluster/dash refinish?
4. Where can you get the arm rest plastic bases refinished in chrome?
5. Is it easy enought to do your own windshield and back glass install, or just pay a professional to do it?
Some of this stuff I have found sources, but I want recommendations of people that actually have done some resorations, and what companies are good to work with for interior screw kits, seals, etc.
Any links to similar barracudas are welcomed
Thanks
Justin

The car was put together with the drive train and the original paint from 1969. I will try to dig some pictures of it up. Here is one picking it up from body shop.

The wheels go pretty good on it. At least they are 5 spoke wheels. I'd like to know more about the motor and trans swap?

thanks.
the engine is an 03 truck engine. 04 ram computer for a manual trans. i did the harness myself from an 04 truck manual. the headers are tti, mounts are tti, keisler 5 speed swap. it will have AC too and hopefully factory cruise.
the car is meant to be a driven as much as possible. basically close to a new challenger without the payment.
i want it to appear to be very close to stock and look like it was suppose to be there.
