Hey guys, have a friend doing up a 72 Charger.... is the bulge painted or a decal....any pictures???

Any help appreciated....

I have a copy of the engineering drawing that also states it's painted. The outer perimeter stripe is .5" wide and the space between the stripe and the middle is .5".

You can see by the pics that the shape varies widely depending on who applied it. The LAST pic is a survivor with original paint...

Great pics! I have to do my hood as well and can faintly see the original lines under the current paint.
This should be moved to the restoration forum so it sticks around for awhile!
