They JUST released a lower rear 1/4 patch for the 73/74 satellite/road runner.
Alan at AMD gave me part number 755-1473-L & R and said the price is $199.95 each.
Hopefully they'll make full quarters sometime soon too!

Until they offer aluminum front ends/full quarters for first gen and at least full quarter skins for second gen B-bodys I give them a big

I talked to Alan a couple years back he said early B-body panels were in the works. Now AMD talks like there isn't enough money to be made making them but yet they do parts for a smaller market(s)
My guess is a M O P A R lover will be the first to come out with them.

I thought about buying an old press and seeing what I can come up with. I used to do maintenance on auto manufactures stamping presses and worked closely with tool&die.... but have too much on my plate already..

It sure would be nice to see some stuff for 62 - 65 B - body cars! Full quarters, fenders etc......

Just empty promises of 1967 Plymouth B body rear quarters. My guess is it will never happen. The economy is taking its toll on all manufacturers these days. Were all lucky to have what`s available today because not that many years ago quality replacement sheemetal for any Mopars was virtually non existant.

And if they did produce them?....then the excuse for not buying them would be "they're so gosh-darn spensive"....

With this economy and the price of done cars way under fixing a project I think we better hope they keep at it and don't drop too many products they do have.

A large, untapped market is the need for 70 Coronet full quarters. I currently need them and I'm holding off on buying ANYTHING from AMD until they make 'em.

As long as they continue to produce A-Body parts we will leave you early B-body guys as the red-headed step-children instead of us...

That's an odd statement.. anyone who restores cars or races NNS better have a little money or they shouldn't be playing with old cars to begin with.

So maybe they have too much on their plate too . Sure, i would love to see them come out with certain parts. You guys should be old enough to know, you can't always get what you want.

I as well could use them. I do not think we will ever see it though. 70 Coronets of all types are few and far between. Now think of the ones that would warrant putting the effort into a full on restoration. Super Bees, R/T's and maybe the odd few N codes or converts. All of them new did not amount of much production. How many are left? Not enough would be sold to justify a prodution run at what they sell the other quarters for. A limited run at a price they could make money at but I bet that would be double or better. Unfortunately I would be one that would pay to get some.

I agree with you ... OEM style 70 Coronet Quarter panels
are sorely needed parts. As are 73/74 Dodge Charger quarter
panels...

When I last spoke to AMD they said low production numbers
(1 year only)...is what kept them from producing them,
same reason for 73-74 chargers.

But they produced 70 roadrunner pieces which were 1 year only panels.

True, if you only look at superbee/rt cars the numbers are low.
But if you count all of the 2 door hardtops Coronet440, Coronet500
the numbers are in line with the 70 roadrunner.

I personally don't own a superbee or R/T,
My car is a 70 Coronet 440.
Rest assured, I would be the first one
in line to buy them if they were made.
