I am having trouble installing the headliner side trim on my 68 charger. I cannot get the clips to snap into place or do whatever they are supposed to do in order to hold the side trim in place. Can someone give me a pointer on how to install these?
Thanks,

I just had to keep pushing up on my trim in my RoadRunner to get them to catch. When I finally got it up it held it up. Just make sure it's not spread out where it clips on the car. Good Luck Ronnie

Rather than pushing try holding light pressure & a quick slap of the hand.... They jump right into place.... Just gotta threaten em..

The clips came off the car around 6 months ago so I am pretty sure that they are the right.

I think my problem is that I am not sliding the pieces in correctly. Does anyone have a picture that shows which way they are supposed to slide in?

I think 4 or 5 go on each side. Anyone know the proper way to install the clips?

I have a 70 Sport Satellite I am working on . . . think you just have to put them in place and hit em pretty good with your hand or something like that . . . don't recall them sliding off . . . just my two cents worth . . .

cheers

Mark

are the clips supposed to just slide on to the trim or do you actually press them down onto the trim? I have been able to get the clips to stay on to the trim both ways but don't know which way they go....Also, I was not the person to take the clips off of the trim so can't go by memory.

You slide them in from the end of the trim.
