So I finally got my rear disc swap and going into it, I knew I was going to have to grind on my brand new calipers because of my 6.5 backspace. Ive taken off quite a bit of material so far and its still not clearing, its making me nervous that I'm going to ruin my calipers. I just wanted to see if anyone else has done this and how far they got into the calipers. I'm sure it will be fine but just wanted to double check.

Yes, the flat spots on either side of the pads. Can't run a wheel spacer, the tire is already right at the 1/4. If I had to guess, I didn't measure it because it didn't seem that tight, looked like I could knock a little off and be good to go..... Which is not the case unfortunately. I'm almost to the point of letting them clearance themselves
