Tim Hyatt, can reface the clutch discs for you. Do NOT throw them out.

Thanks Jeff. Yep, Tim did reface the clutch disks (have 2 spares), its the flywheel and pressure plate facings that are toast. I like to look at them every now & then. This year I went back to an all steel flywheel and pressure ring.

Yep, back to running the vert. Last year I was running a 68 barracuda w/same drive train, but then I took it to a body guy in January who said it would be finished by march. I guess that I thought he meant 2011

Mike, you're going pitch a rod in the water box.
.... I try to keep it under 8000 RPM.

I already have.
Next year a 298" W7 head motor and 5 speed go in.
Life begins at 10,000 RPM !!!

Well if a body guy tells you it will be done in a certain month, you need to ask what year. LOL. Post pics of the Barracuda when it gets out of body shop jail.

Your only going to run 5/8 of a engine? Life must begin when valve springs die.
