jrwoodjoe OP master Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 8,526 Tenn.	I need a little clarification. My car was missing some bolts when I got it and I'm trying to make sure I'm doing the correct thing. I checked my chassis manual and couldn't find the answer. I have the 5 bellhousing bolts installed that go through the bell housing to the engine. In some reference photos I have, it shows 2 bolts going in the lower ear of the engine. Looking at the bell housing bolt kit that R/T Specialties offers. It has the 5 like bolts and only 1 longer bolt for the ear area. Not 2. I should have 2 lower motor "ear" bolts. Correct? 65 Barracuda 70 Challenger

kentj340 top fuel Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 1,655 Cut and Shoot, TX	My 69 Barracuda 340 M4 has 7 bell housing-engine bolts, 7 split washers, and 1 wiring clip (J clip) for the backup light wiring. 5 hex bolts, 3/8-16 x 1 3/8, 9/16 AF, head mark "M". 2 hex bolts, 7/16-14 x 1 1/2, 5/8 AF, head mark "M". 5 split washers x 3/8 & 2 split washers x 7/16. 1 J clip, 5/16 capacity, 5/8 W x 1 3/8 L, .39 hole for 3/8 bolt. With PlastiDip. All the above had engine paint overspray.

jrwoodjoe OP master Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 8,526 Tenn.	Thanks guys. Mine was missing one of the bottom bolts but I knew I had seen the bottom bolts on other engines. When I pulled up the bolt kit and it only showed one it had me second guessing. Not sure why it includes just one when you need two. That gets me going again. Thanks guys.
