WHY didn't he make an area for the steering column to go through? ... HOW MUCH does it weigh? .. Your price was "nice" ? .. WHY all the shuck and jive?
Just a simple and direct Q for U -- HOW MUCH IS A SINGLE DASH ?
And he can make TWO by the end of 2011? .. IF HE is any type of fiberglass craftsman ... he should be able to produce AT LEAST one a week.
And HOW is my order for FIFTY going ?

Doc, why all the negativity and sarcasm? The guy he contracted to do this has a full time job and is doing this on the side. 2 more by the end of the year for a guy with a full time job, family, and holidays coming doesn't seem to unrealistic. Someone comes on here with on something cool and you pick it apart? He even said in his second post that he's not getting into the business side of it. If you can do better, by all means have at it.

some vynl wood grain over chrome vynl would be a neat trick...
Agreed! That is an option. I can get wood grain, and I have some mirror finish chrome, as well as a brushed chrome in stock. And small engine turned gold if you want a really retro look haha!
