just putting the finishing touches on my little holley 4bbl/340 intake swap onto my 318 and wasn't real sure where to run the vacuum lines to the carb. does anyone have a diagram or pictures possibly on which ones go where? the air cleaner has a neat "flap" that looks like it opens with a vacuum to let more air in.

in a related question...

i got the car to idle with it in park and in drive and let it run for a good 15 minutes to check for leaks and such. the choke opened up all the way and everything was smooth and crisp, but one thing i noticed, was the idle speed increased once it started getting hot. any ideas?

thanks guys!

I didn't look through the whole thing, but this link might help. It's an CSM for 1972, which was the year the flapper 4bbl air cleaners were used on 340s. Maybe it'll have something for you.

If I'm ever in PA, you owe me a beer and at least one hooker.
