I was looking around the shop for a fan that would support my stock 2core 22in radiator and 400hp 383. I found 2 fans while going through this pile of parts. The first is a 5 blade with a fan clutch that I believe is off of my 68 318 and the other is a 7 blade flex fan non-clutch I think may be from a ford....

Would either of these fans be able to cool my 400hp 383 with a stock small block 22" 2 core rad?

Thanks in advance,
Atom

The fixed fan looks like an aftermarket piece. I doubt the factory (even Ford) would have slotted the mounting holes.

Schwitzer seemed to make a ton of different fans...

http://www.fanclutch.com/manufacturers.a...Type=Fan Blades

Some where OE I think from a quick looky on google....it's also got Flex-a-lite stamped in it as well, who of course sell all the unversal replacement stuff...so maybe they just buy them from Schwitzer and stamp thier name in and resell them..

My Malwarebytes stopped a "harmful web page or file" off that web site.
