Does anyone have any information on the weight of a '74 Dodge B200 (Royal Sportsman) passenger van. Long wheelbase but not a maxi.

Thanks,

Bill

I would go with 4,500 lbs as a guide, but you'd need to weigh it for an exact weight. I took the GVWR listed on the Safety Certification Label (driver's door jamb area-- 6,100 in this case) and subtracted the minimum payload (1560) to get 4500.

IIRC, my '77 109" wheelbase w/360/4-speed weighed 4,000 lbs when I had it on a scale.

Nice van, BTW.

Yeah, a friend had one of those long but not maxi 74's with pass seats and 318, and it moved along very well. Spin tires, not a problem. It acted somewhat light weight.
