i had 4 diff 340 engines with a Melling RPD 20 camshaft many many years ago. I would like to find a new RPD 20 cam now. That was the best running cam i have ever had in all my 340's and better than the 340 cams of all my friends. All the local parts stores tell me the part number is good, but the cam is unavailable. I wonder if i could contact Melling directly? This cam worked so great (better than any other cams i tried -(Crower, Direct Connction/Mopar, Racer Brown, and Crane)in my stock bore/stock compression 340's. The cam had a great bump/sound-the cam specs were 475 lift 298 duration intake and 308 duration exhaust, i do not know any of the other cam specs. The lift was not real high, but had alot duration to help the poor breathing Mopar heads work. Did any of you ever run this cam?
