Just started today. Hasn't thrown a code yet. Truck only does it below 30 mph. It'll surge then stumble like it has no power then surge again. Does this over and over. Above 30 it runs fine. It doesn't sound like the IAC valve is bad or needs cleaned, it idles fine. Maybe the TPS?

Gave code P0406. Guess I'll change the EGR.

while youre there,, clean the idle air control valve, and its socket it goes in,
also clean the throttle body out and look at any cracked or broken vacume hose, pay piticular to the emmission lines running to the evap canister and any angle fitting with cracks etc , change them out, /replace hoses as needed

I just replaced a coil yesterday on one of these. Came up with an injector fault code and a random misfire.

Yeah everything I read said that would be a good idea. Thanks. Everything I also read said changing the EGR on a 2005 4.7 Dakota was a royal pain.
