Hey just wanted some input on a carb to run on my 500inch motor. I bought it with an 850 on it but the guy I bought it from said it had a 1050 on it but had a problem so he sold it and put the 850 on it. I want to go back to a 1050 but there are so many of them and don't want to spend money to spend it again on another one down the road. The car is a 68 Dart with a 500inch motor, 2 1/8 Supper Comp headers, caged, Dana 60 with 430 gears, 10.5 to 1? and roller cam but no idea what lift it is. Can you make a 1150 work fine for now just in case I go bigger or should I stick with a 1050? RPM range is 6,200 to 6,600 he said also???? There are some many names out there Holley,AED,Jet and Quick Fuel ?????
