Does the 1970 Challenger E Brake Pedal have a return spring like on the 1973. I do not see any whole for it. If not what pulls it back up when you release it?

Thanks

Joe

The spring design and location are different in 70 than in 73

Do you have anything that shows me that? Picture, Diagrams. Drawings. I have both Pedals. The 70 does not have the spring and I do not see any holes where it would go. I used the little catch release spring off the 73 on the 70. It was the same.

A factory service manual (FSM) probably would.

There is no return spring on a 70 E brake.
The cable tension returns the pedal to its'
resting position.

Jules and all others. Is there a bracket that bolts on it to hold the cable? I have the pin to hook the cable to the pedal. My assembly looks just like the one pictured but not as nice. I see two wholes there where it may mount?

Thank you all!

Yes . It is a U type bracket and a bolt w/nut.
