Tony, IIRC when you got your Challenger going it was lazy off the starting line and then took off downtrack. What was it? Accelerator pump? Squirters???? Thanks!

Thanks Tony. I'm having the same problem with my junk, but I am sure it's something I've changed in the carb. I'll have to do some experimenting next time I get it out.
check initial timing first? i think you are missing a few cylinders what kind of carb?

Tony, initial is 15, total is 27 all in by 2500. 600 Holley DP. Converter is a 3500 PTC. 4.56 gears. 232 ci. Car is just lazy first 60 feet or so then comes alive. Short time was off as much as 4 tenths last time out.
I messed around with jetting and PV before I went to Nebraska a couple weeks ago to clean up the idle. May have to go back the other way.
