My key stopped working.. goes in fine, Buzzer goes on. but I can't move it forward or back.. just a very little... is there a way to interchange this part out, this a easy job?
the chrome outside plate without the key in it, is real loose too, moves forward all the way then back alot too.. but i can see its just the plate moving not the key hole

the coloum is locked..key won't turn and the release lever to unlock the steering wheel don't work.. why?

Gee my next question just may be .. how do i hot wire the car!

can a locksmith help me with this?

See if the wheel is under tension. Try turning the key while trying to turn the wheel left and/or right.
