I recently purchased a year one T/A hood from Ebay..what size of spring do i need to use for the hood and where to purchase. I also heard that you can use a certain size trampoline spring to keep the hood up and without much pressure..any experience with the Trampoline springs and T/A hood?? Thanks always moparts..

Here's what I'm doing, hinges already have holes in them.
5/16" rod bent to 8.5" width.

It's the hoodpins cranking on the front of the hood along with the air intake pushing up that makes them bow in the center.
