I need to replace the stock axles. Not going with a spool at this time. So what axles would be the best band for the buck. Car is currently going 11.10 @119 1.54 60ft.4.30 suregrip. Thanks for your input.

Probably Moser.
They are a small step down from Strange or M.W. in price and probably in overall strength.
I seem to recall reading that they aren't through hardened like Strange , and are a better candidate for Street / strip use.
Mark Williams has their own splines and won't work with any other's spools.
They use a different angle on them.

Edited to add..........there are cheaper out there.
But I don't know how they are quality wise. ( Yukon comes to mind. )
I am not sure if Summers Bros are still in business.........or Henry's either.
They had a name and were on some fast cars back in the day.

I heard they were Strange axles by design from one of the brothers who went off on his own.........

My father uses Yukon axles in his low 11 second Swinger. He has never had an issue with them.

Dutchman Motorsports is a Strange Engineering dealer. They sell Strange components, but their axles are their own design. Moser axles are very similar to Dutchman.

Dutchmans knows what they are doing and in genrual nice guys but if you walk in off the street to deal with then its a real pain in the ass. No checks cash only and for some reason I think they dont take cards for walkins its been a few years. but I know it was a PIA. I was talking to a budy who has a Trany shop in town and had dutchmans do some axles for him and he was bitching what a PIA it was.
