My sons 1994 Dodge Shadow (2.5L) started idling rough and stalling. We checked for error codes and got 12-25-55 so a code 25 was shown. I have no idea what the code means and the car completely stalled this morning and will not re fire?

Does anyone know what a code 25 is?

Code 25 looks like Idle speed problem could be vacume leak or electrical.

code 25 is coolant temp sensor code-next to t-stat-did you unplug it for any reason?disconnect neg cable about 10 minutes and run to see if it resets-rick

If the sensor fails it usually goes to mius 40 and is like running with a full choke on.Dosent take long to foul plugs.For the price change it and disconnect the battery.Pull plugs and see what they look like.Those were also known for the plate for the pickup in the dist coming apart.Pull the inspection plug on the belt cover and make sure the timing belt is OK.Rocky
