Congrats to Tony on winning the deal! Mr consistency. (if you don't want those slicks I use that size) Big thanks for Scott and Gary to put up with all of the negativity yet still put together a great race! We had a really good time meeting, talking and seeing everybody and their cars. If you do it again we will be there! Only thing i think we messed up with we should have got everybody and their cars together for a group photo. We had one of every color!

My opinion about that track is that they need to spray it from the start line to the finish line.....im pretty sure all they spray is the first 60 - 80 feet, and only with a little garden sprayer. That just aint going to cut it for my car on a radial, IF they sprayed it all the way and the groove was there, i think i could have gone in the 30's or def in the 40's...just ran out of time playing with the car.
That's the only complaint I've heard, that maybe they're a bit stingy at times with the chemicals. That's where you proved your ability though, IMO. You were able to figure it out and adjust to the track. A lot harder to do on small tires, so I'm impressed with all of you guys who know how to get it done!
They always spray the whole track at the start of the day then drag it.....My 60 ft in 9 passes was 1.090 to 1.092 and my 330 vary 3.084 to 3.087 all day and all night!

Not trying to step on any toes but the track was terrible by the end of the night. Even the car that won who had went down the track every pass previously had to lift and correct in the final. First pass track was so so, and just got progressively worse as the night went on. 1000plus hp at 3000plus lbs, and 28x10 needs alot more attention to the track and very constant conditions to work everypass and repeat. As the night went on they needed to rosin the starting line a little and drag and spray once more at least, When the starting line started to get a few bald spots and rubber was peeling 60' out and they just kept racing they obviously just didnt care at that point. Oh well way it goes.
One day I will have something cool here.

Come back this Saturday and watch some of the small tire cars in the 4.90 range get down the track all day and night....And the track will be prepped the same way!
ON A RADIAL TIRE? OR A SLICK? LOL
The track is a very nice surface, just needs MORE prep in my opinion. Here where i am the track has a truck that has sprayer arms and the spry from the start to the finish multiple times during the event. I understand they may have their own way of doing it and thats ok. The cars you are referring to going 4.90's on that track, what do they weigh? and dont forgt they are on a slick. I was 3495 and on a radial. Give me another day of testing and i might have gone a .40 or possible .30 on that track......and my car is set up for the 1/4 meaning i have 3.70 rear gears.

In the process of building a small tire 69 dart and we already have a 70 cuda that runs 5.60s also..And before you ask yes its a big tire car 2740lbs with 444 C.I.D.....!! The dragster...Yea they maybe boring but it sure does make me alot of money every year.. Adapt and overcome....Thats what makes a good car and a tuner..... I am a big mopar lover no doubt but if you want to impress me get rid of the little solenoids on the the side of the intake then make it run.....That is what imopresses me!
