Congrats to Tony on winning the deal! Mr consistency.
(if you don't want those slicks I use that size)

Big thanks for Scott and Gary to put up with all of the negativity yet still put together a great race! We had a really good time meeting, talking and seeing everybody and their cars. If you do it again we will be there!

Only thing i think we messed up with we should have got everybody and their cars together for a group photo. We had one of every color!

HaHa. I forgot how much I loved my turbo after a day of pulling plugs every pass.( thats me on the driver side). I had a great time, I wish my car was still together to have made it. Bill told me to tell everyone involved thank you. Sorry I didn't introduce myself to everyone, but slipped my mind while we were all talking just didn't even think about it. I am going to come to Indy and help Bill at Joshs race. Hope to see everyone there, I don't think my new car will be legal though. LOL

One day I will have something cool here.

My opinion about that track is that they need to spray it from the start line to the finish line.....im pretty sure all they spray is the first 60 - 80 feet, and only with a little garden sprayer. That just aint going to cut it for my car on a radial, IF they sprayed it all the way and the groove was there, i think i could have gone in the 30's or def in the 40's...just ran out of time playing with the car.

That's the only complaint I've heard, that maybe they're a bit stingy at times with the chemicals. That's where you proved your ability though, IMO. You were able to figure it out and adjust to the track. A lot harder to do on small tires, so I'm impressed with all of you guys who know how to get it done!

They always spray the whole track at the start of the day then drag it.....My 60 ft in 9 passes was 1.090 to 1.092 and my 330 vary 3.084 to 3.087 all day and all night!

Was this a 10.5 or a 275 race?

Congrats Tony on the win! It was nice meeting most of everyone. By some of the post there was some spectators there that I didnt meet. Sorry didnt realize some were Moparts members. Had no idea that that was your Cuda Headhunter. Looks nice! As well as the mopar race cars. Hope something like this can happen again! Got a t-shirt from Big time but unfortunately the heads-up t-shirt large was sold out. Had a good time so did the boy. Btw I was the one with the ponytail and yellowbullet t-shirt on.

Not trying to step on any toes but the track was terrible by the end of the night. Even the car that won who had went down the track every pass previously had to lift and correct in the final. First pass track was so so, and just got progressively worse as the night went on. 1000plus hp at 3000plus lbs, and 28x10 needs alot more attention to the track and very constant conditions to work everypass and repeat. As the night went on they needed to rosin the starting line a little and drag and spray once more at least, When the starting line started to get a few bald spots and rubber was peeling 60' out and they just kept racing they obviously just didnt care at that point. Oh well way it goes.

HaHa, you get rid of that dragster buy a small tire car, drive to a track you never run on come on out and then tell me about the track conditions. That was a crap track to what I run on here in NC. If I was local and raced there every month I would hope I could get down the track every pass and I think we could have gotten Bills car in the 5 teen range with a couple more passes. Let me guess who is gonna go 4.90's a 632 with cheifs 2 kits and 29's, Sorry doesn't impress me. Oh and I can promise I will never drive 10 hours to go to that track again. You can bet that, and you can have that place.

ON A RADIAL TIRE? OR A SLICK? LOL

The track is a very nice surface, just needs MORE prep in my opinion. Here where i am the track has a truck that has sprayer arms and the spry from the start to the finish multiple times during the event. I understand they may have their own way of doing it and thats ok.
The cars you are referring to going 4.90's on that track, what do they weigh? and dont forgt they are on a slick. I was 3495 and on a radial. Give me another day of testing and i might have gone a .40 or possible .30 on that track......and my car is set up for the 1/4 meaning i have 3.70 rear gears.

You said it better than me. thank you. I think with more passes I could have gotten it figured out and ran some good numbers. The track was very different every time we went to the starting line. When the sun started going down and the track got a little tighter then rubber was being ripped up from it being scraped thin, they should have stopped put down some rosin, drag and sprayed the track. It went from pretty tight and good the first pass, then to a greasy mess our sec ond pass to a bald start when we lost to the guys with the n/a dart. But oh well way it goes, I think some of us are just spoiled from running on great tracks 90% of the time.

In the process of building a small tire 69 dart and we already have a 70 cuda that runs 5.60s also..And before you ask yes its a big tire car 2740lbs with 444 C.I.D.....!! The dragster...Yea they maybe boring but it sure does make me alot of money every year..

Adapt and overcome....Thats what makes a good car and a tuner.....

I am a big mopar lover no doubt but if you want to impress me get rid of the little solenoids on the the side of the intake then make it run.....That is what imopresses me!

You sir are the reason 90% of mopar people are still stuck in the 80's. I would love for you to try and out tune me on any track matter fact, or better yet try and outrun me or anybody else with your small tire dart. Run on motor what the hell kind of fun would that be? Good for you, keep Mopar people in the past.

Yeah -1 heads with a cast tunnel ram is cutting edge! Did you have to buy that stuff from NASA? I've never seen it before . Columbus's boat was powered by a 440 with cast tunnel ram didn't anybody tell you? Its so old a cavemen raced a t-rex with that combo.

Its called reliable in our world where we make over 500 passes a year....Fortunatly i dont have to make it is fast as it will go...But i do have to make it run the number which i am pretty good at doing...There is alot more to a to our cars that have to be cutting edge than the motor, it just has to be reliable.

That was the 2 nd time i had been to that track this year and the only reason was to see all the nice mopars and try to watch some of the race that these guys worked hard to have.....Sorry it may have dissapointed you.
