If I can find another good 340 block I'm gonna build me a 4.06 x 4.25 BPE cranked 440, just because it's a Kewl thing to do....I figure having a legit 440 pie tin on a small block would be worth a few , huh? My next project I think will be a 71-72 b body wagon tow car with dog dishes that I can use as a tow rig, guess I'll do that as soon as the CNC'ed W5 head deal I can swap on the Rocky falls into my lap...that way I can reuse the Shady dll stage 2's on it

I guess you need to have the engine built by someone who knows what they are doing.

I just made 621 on pump gas with a 4" crank...I believe 630's was capable with a bit more time finding what it liked. So more compression, more cam, more stroke, better block, vacuum pump...NOT CHEAP but whoever said 700HP would be. Even in a BB it aint cheap.
