Hi, I'm leaving tomorrow late, we always stay over around Roshell Ill, then it's only an hour to the track friday, morning, the track is great one of my favorites, lots of grass and trees, very nice personal, us nostalgia guys are treated like kings look me up, 67 silver hemi sedan, I go with a friend who has a big toter home an stacker. Russ what car do you have?

I don't know how the weather will affect turn out. 70% chance of rain Friday, and only 10% saturday. Temps. will be cool so I'm guessing there will be some head scratching as to which index to run. Had a hard time finding a room, told there was a big drag race this weekend. Appears there will be a lot of spectators. Jay

Time to get to work and check the rear suspension and order tires, so as not to be embarrased there too. Had a great time as usual even if the car was having problems. Just got to fix that loose nut behind the wheel! See everybody next month. Jay

moparpiff member M Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 153 illinois	I race at Cordova regularly and really enjoy the show you guys put on at the Nostalgia race and at the World Series. I didn't get the opportunity to grow up when all of your cars came from the factory so it is a an awesome sight to see when you are all out there making your runs. Here's to looking forward the seeing you all at the World Series in August.

hemidup OP super stock Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 833 MN	So who won? Being pumped up for the race I barely had any sleep Thursday night. No room's were available so Don and I slept in the trailer. No biggy, but uncomfortable and with only 1 time trial on Friday I was wondering if I put the right tune in the car....Another restless night of sleep. Luckily we had 2 time trials Sat and the first time trial it was close. I wished our class could have made a few more passes so I could put some e.t. in the bank, but I thought we had a good package for 1 run and didn't dare change anything. After Don lost to Corda in the 2nd round we packed it up. On the way home all I could think about was how good it's gonna be to get a good night's rest in my bed. Wrong...Got home at 3 am and our bed was full of grandkid's so grandpa had to sleep on a hard floor again since grandma had the couch. The grandkid's woke up at 7 am but grandpa was in their way cause they wanted to watch the "Sprout" channel. I finally got in 12 hours of sleep last night. Enough of my whinning, so who's going to Eddyville? Jerry Williams.

Jay That's who I predicted would win after we left. With the 1 shot pass on Friday, I gave Don's car the best tune I could muster for Sat. We actually ended up with a better package than Corda with thanks going out to "Uncle Punkin", but the rt lane/rt side groove gave up the ghost about 20' out. Don tree'd Corda by .044 but lost .060 in the 60' and if the car didn't spin would have been a great heads up race. Don and I spent many an hour on the drive back home bench racing lol. I told him "It is what it is, forget about it and move on to the next race". BTW...Your wife's homemade cookies are to die for. Jerry Williams.
