this what you need?
That helps, I know the grommits go in the holes, but is that it then? No hook up to the air cleaner or anything, just the open holes?

I put my holes towards the back of the scoop, if the holes are towards the front then when you drive you are trapping air inside the back of the scoop and its a good way for the hood to get squirrely at higher speeds.
I used to own a laundromat so if you want to put some rubber edging on the holes, go to a Commercial Wascomat or Speed Queen distributor and get 1 dryer door seal. The look almost like originals for ALLOT less

The scoops are so low on the hood that they wont pick much air up any ways. I wouldnt worry about trapped air in them. At most they will let some heat out.
