yes I noticed on some other sections.

now, wondering... do you think on THIS car, allmost survivor, owner could refinish these ?

It's really hard to say without knowing more history & details. There are way too many possible scenarios on a 40-year old car. I wish there was a way to ask him...

yes! I would like to ask him too

One thing to note:

hood is with the middle gap ( 72 style ) so mostly sure a late 71 production car.

these cars also got late kind buckets armature/ seatbacks/release button ( imposible to discover on video ) and some other 72 parts. I'm pretty sure seatbelts too and center console allong with this

Could this something else to consider having black rear bezels too ?

What do you consider late production? My car has the same hood and it was built in January. I don't think the hood differences have been nailed down either. I have the hood and doors from a black R/T and the hood has no gap. I don't remember what the production date is from the door.

dunno, I'm just thinking out loud trying to search for logic on those details mentioned. I can't tell what would be considered a "late production"

My spare hood and doors are in storage so I'll have to check the date on them next time I go down there.

I have the gaped hood too and it was built in September in LA. I am pretty sure the hood was original too.
