I was going to order some new Accell plugs for the 383 and see that there are two versions of the same plug. One is a shorty version and the other is a long version aka a standard version. The longer spark plugs fit, but when you put a spark plug boot on the spark plug it sticks out so far that it touches part of the header. In addition to being more expensive, they are harder to find, and you have to buy them in sets. I would buy the longer, and less expensive, spark plugs if they have been working for you so far.

John, I have the Firecore 50 wires and yes have TTI headers. I was wondering if both brands are resistor then how could just switching change anything? Both seem to be about the same in all aspects unless i go for the $8 a piece iridium (of your money) NGK types in place of the $3 ones.
