I want to get my TQ rebuilt but need to get a good match for a intake that will work.I wa s told on a previous post that the Edelbrock Performer will work, since it is a spread bore design same as the TQ.I was always under the impression that the Performer intake was more for stock engines.
My 340 has 9;8 compression, Edelbrock heads, 477 lift/268 duration cam, TTI headers, 21/2 inc exhaust and automatic 727.
So will a Performer work or is there a older stock intake that will work even tough it is heaver. I also want to be able to use the electric choke setup.My duster is just a street driver does no see strip racing.
So I guess all you TQ carb guys what is your suggestions for a good intake to match my TQ?
