Yes, This circus was Brutons idea. As I recall, didn't the racers say they were not coming back after last years event if they continued to do the 4 wide? NHRA's solution was to add a second event there and the racers were muscled into it. NHRA should listen to the racers, and majority of fans and cancel this circus. If BS wants to have THE premier facility, work on the track surface, 1/2 of it! Perhaps a wealthy drag racer should build a nice circle track facility (or 2) in a new market(s) that appealed to Nascar, but then come up with a new concept about running there? Say, every 5th lap the drivers have to stop, get out of the car, and run around it yelling "help me Tom Cruise, I'm on fire". Fans would love it!
