FWIW...When I lived in Maryland up until the mid 70's,MIR (Budds Creek) would run a few shows that had nitro funny cars and later also ran pro stocks 4 wide.It was wild!!One night it was McCandless,Jenkins,Nicholson and Malcom Durham. Of course back then we didn't have the Armco barriers we have now and you could see everything.Now, I don't really care for it,maybe because the cars are spread out over 2 race tracks,and it's hard to follow.
