You don't need a FT or B/S to tell if the car was originally built with buckets or bench, there are reinforcement plates welded into the floor of bucket seat cars where they attach to the floor also.



Thanks. You're right. I know about the reinforcement plates. That's why I'm considering a bucket seat swap. Since my car has no reinforcement plates, I know it was a bench car.
