Word of advice, and recommended by por15, put the stuff on bare, do not prime first.

I had the cage primed when the car was painted because I didn't know what I was going to do with the cage. The door bars and cross bar were out of the car and did not get primed.

The stuff that was *not* primed painted and came out better. The guy that painted the car could not believe it. I mean, glass smooth. I hung the pieces vertically from the ceiling with some wire, that way it was easy to spin as you paint.

The cage in the car came out really nice too, don't get me wrong. There is just some dust and stuff that was in the primer, plus the por15 did not flow out as well as bare metal. Still super smooth, but I could tell a difference when painting.
