A friend of mine has a 625 CFM 9635S Competition Series AFB, and I was wondering if it would be any better than a 1406. I can't get rid of this hot start problem with my 1406. I know the original AFBs and AVSs didn't have problems like these new carbs have. Just wanted to see if it would be any better than the Eddy, or if it is a "Weber wonder" as well. It would be going on my 78 Fury, LA 360, magnum heads, dual plane M1, xe256, 2200 stall, 3.55s, headers and 2.5" duals. Or would I be better off with an old AVS or vacuum secondary Holley?
